The LS-007 nippers are a tool that can handle a few different tasks making them a handy tool to have when you are doing small maintenance jobs. They are made from Carbon Steel which makes them stronger and easier to sharpen.
The nippers have had an update to the handle grip, besides the change in colour and the removal of the text from the handle the new improved grips are slightly softer and provide more grip, this is especially helpful if the handles become wet. The handles are also now more comfortable which helps during longer bonsai sessions.
Features
Bud Pruning : The fine pointed blades and long slender shaft make these an excellent tool for quickly nipping buds of trees and their small nature makes them easier to get into tighter spaces and prune hard to reach places such as crouch growth in junipers. They are also handy for de-candling smaller pines.
Wire Cutters : These pruners are great for cutting smaller gauge wire up too 3mm when doing your detail wiring, we don’t recommend using this tool to remove wire though as the pointed tips make it easy to over cut the wire and into your branching.
Defoliation : These pruners are a great light weight solution to defoliating your trees, the sharp blades make it easy to cut through the leaves petiole leaving you with a bare tree.
