Care
General Maintenance:Repot in the spring when they have become root bound, or every couple of years. Propagation can be done by division when repotting. Wipe the leaves gently with a cloth or sponge to remove dust.
Temperature:Ideal temperatures are between 18C – 24C. Lower temperatures will cause yellowed leaves and impede growth.
Light:Anthuriums will take as much light as you can give, as long as it is not direct. Direct light can cause leaf scorching.
Watering:Requires consistently moist soil, do not let dry out between watering. Will enjoy regular misting.
Soil:Any well-draining and well-aerated potting mix will work. Perlite and/or orchid bark can be added to promote drainage and aeration. Peat-based mixes with perlite are ideal.
Fertilizer:Use a slow release fertilizer or a diluted liquid feed approximately every second time you water your plant during the growing season (May – Aug).
