Creamy white flowers bloom in May and later give way to vivid red berries. The foliage of the Viburnum trilobum has gently toothed edges and resembles a maple leaf in shape. The lustrous green leaves develop a bronzy-red hue by the fall.
This shrub has a compact, dense, mounded form and will reach 5 to 6 feet tall. The Cranberrybush makes a wonderful hedge or border. This plant can add a burst of color and texture to a mass planting.
