The soil can be amended with peat moss or compost to increase the amount of humus. Berries & Cream™ Peppermint Plant prefers soil with a pH that varies somewhere from 5.6 to 7.5. In an effort to prevent this plant from roaming in the garden, consider planting it in containers buried underneath the soil. If growing in a container, choose a pot that is at least 10 inches in diameter and is equipped with multiple drainage holes. Repot fast-growing Berries & Cream™ Peppermint once per year. When repotting, divide the plant into halves and place each section into a new pot that is one to two inches bigger than the old pot.
