Narrow, pyramidal cedar with an improved hardiness. Low maintenance evergreen with dense, rich dark green foliage. Excellent as a screen, hedge, specimen or accent. Very resistant to browning in winter.
General Maintenance: Little pruning is necessary but can be sheared to keep denser. Provide shelter from drying winds, and some shade in hotter regions. Mulch root zone to conserve moisture. Light: Full sun Watering: Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Soil: Prefers deep, fertile, loamy, well-drained soil with consistent moisture. Fertilizer: Feed in early spring with an all purpose fertilizer prior to the new growth.
