Dioon edule ‘Palma Sola’ is a giant form of hardy cycad from Mexico. This offering represents seed-propagated plants from a population in the northern end of the Mexican state of Veracruz. The rosettes are composed of 3′ long, rigid, glaucous-green leaves. As the plant ages, it will form a trunk up to 6′ tall…for your grandkids. We recommend at least 4-6 hours of sun and well-drained soils for best growth.
