The Echinacea hybrid has all we love about coneflowers, including its bee, bird, and butterfly attracting properties. The plants also are drought tolerant, can handle heat and cold and are largely ignored by deer. But this is not a typical purple coneflower. The deep orange-red double flowers will brighten any container or garden bed.

The flowers also can act as low border plants or a field of bright orange-red as a mass planting. Echinacea is an excellent cut or dried flower.
