Echinodorus Reni Packaged Pot

The ‘Reni’ is a well-known cultivar characterized by it’s easy care and it’s being amongst the smallest of the red Echinodorus. The new leaves of the plant are reddish-brown to deep beetroot in colour. It can be used in small aquariums and is unpretentious.

Care

General Maintenance: No specific care requirements outside of normal aquarium/pond requirements.

Temperature: 15C to 30C is ideal.

Light: Grow lights are required for optimum growth and survival of aquatic plants. Some may last without them, but they won’t thrive.

Soil: A nutrient rich substrate is preferred, but keep an eye on nitrates if in an environment with fish.

Fertilizer: Can gain nutrients via organic waste from fish, but an aquatic plant food will provide optimum health.
