Choose a spot protected from high winds in partial sun to partial shade. Fire N Ice Pieris thrives in morning sun followed by afternoon shade. Morning sun will encourage brighter variegation and more blooming, while afternoon shade will prevent its leaves from sunburning. Plant this shrub in moist, slightly acidic, well-draining soil.
