Galega orientalis, also known as goats rue, is a quietly impressive perennial with upright spikes of soft blue, pea-like flowers blooming from May to July, and occasionally again in late summer. Its pale lime green foliage provides a light, fresh contrast, softening borders beautifully.
This plant reaches around 60cm tall and is easy to grow in sun or part shade. A mild runner, it gradually spreads without becoming invasiveideal for informal planting, wild borders or soft meadow-style schemes.
