Heuchera ‘Rio’ comes from our friends at Terra Nova, and has been outstanding in our trials. The 10″ tall x 2′ wide evergreen clumps are composed of foliage that emerges brilliant red and ages to pumpkin orange. The inclusion of Heuchera villosa blood in its parentage allows it to thrive in hot humid summers. Average moisture and good drainage are the keys to success.
