Dwarf, globe-shaped mounding shrub with fuzzy green foliage. Tiny, creamy white blooms in summer contrast its foliage, making it a very handsome feature. Dark red ornamental berries are produced in the fall. Very hardy. Its compact growth habit makes this an ideal foundation plant.

General Maintenance: Little pruning is necessary but can shear to give a more formal appearance. Prune broken or damaged limbs. Light: Full sun to partial sun. Watering: Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Requires less water when established. Soil:It does best in average to evenly moist conditions, but will not tolerate standing water. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. Fertilizer: Feed in early spring with an all purpose fertilizer prior to the new growth.
