Hosta ‘Branching Out’ is a 2016 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of a breakthrough from our breeding program…a hosta with consistently well-branched flower spikes and attractive pale lavender flowers that make a truly superb floral show. Hosta ‘Branching Out’ forms a 1′ tall x 30″ wide clump of glossy green ruffled leaves, topped in August (NC) with 30″ tall, sturdy flower scapes that are reliably branched four ways. Hosta ‘Branching Out’ is a complex cross involving Hostas ‘Korean Snow’, ‘Maekawa’, ‘Elvis Lives’, and ‘Pewterware’. You can’t conceive of how amazing this is in flower until you’ve seen it in person!
