Abundant clusters of sweetly fragrant, purple flowers in mid-spring on a vigorous, upright, multi-stemmed shrub with heart-shaped, green foliage. Plant near a window or pathway where the fragrant blooms can be enjoyed. Long-lived and excellent for windbreaks and privacy hedges.

General Maintenance: Little pruning is required. If pruning is required, cut back after blooming to promote strong new growth and flower buds to set for the next year. Light: Full sun. Soil: It is very adaptable to both dry and moist locations. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. Fertilizer: Feed in early spring with an all purpose fertilizer prior to the new growth.
