SOWINGDirect sow seeddeep and 4 apart 7 weeks before the first expected fall frost (late July or early August in the northeast) for a fall harvest.
THINNINGWhen plants are 6 tall, thin or transplant seedlings to allow mature plants to stand 20 apart.
GERMINATION7-14 days, depending on soil and weather conditions.
REMARKSA good spring planted broccoli if started inside 6-8 weeks before transplanting outside in late spring after danger of frost has passed. Heat sensitive.
